Avoid witch doctors-Police

“Do not visit a witch-doctor when you are sick” is the advice from the police to the public.

This followed complaints received from people visiting witch doctors who have been paying large fees but do not get cured of their illness.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said that when people realize they are not cured, they seek to have a refund from the witch-doctor.

Police are requesting people to visit a Health Centre or a licensed medical doctor in times of illness.
