Authorities are still searching for seven people reported missing at sea on Wednesday morning and information that the missing people have been found are false.
Fiji Maritime Surveillance Rescue Coordination Centre has confirmed that the Navy Search and Rescue flight team, RFNS Kikau and Police are engaged in the search.
It says a boat matching the description was located yesterday by Navy Search and Rescue flight team.

The men were on a yellow fibre‑glass boat which left Nawaikama village in Gau at 5am on Wednesday for Levuka.
A report was received at the Levuka Police Station that the seven had not reached their destination.
