The Fijian soldiers who participated in the training conducted by the Australian Defence Force were commended by the Australian Defence Force Chief, General Angus Campbell today at Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua.

He says from his observation, the training was well-constructed, and he believes that many soldiers who have undergone this training have learned a lot from it.

General Campbell says the training is very important for the well-being and the performance of their troops on operations to which they are committed.

He says they are committed to working with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

He further says they do not want to do this just for the RFMF and Fiji but also for the Pacific region.

General Campbell came for a short visit to see and witness the training conducted by his force in the Republic of Fiji Military Forces in working together to learn new skills.
