Australia are through to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final after a tension filled three-wicket win over South Africa in Kolkata this morning.
Batting first in overcast conditions was a risk that South Africa were willing to take given their previous success with that approach but they were soon in trouble as Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood tore through the top order.
Player of the match, Australia's Travis Head says they knew how they were going to play and that is how the team trained.
Head says they are going to battle one of the best team of the tournament and they need to prepare themselves well before the match.
Australia will face India in the final at 8.30pm on Sunday.
