Auckland to witness Bula Festival 2011
Auckland will witness the celebration of the Bula Festival 2011 today where the Fijian culture will be celebrated.

Radio Tarana’s Managing Director, Robert Khan said this is the only large Fiji themed/Pacific style outdoor festival, being organized during the Rugby World Cup celebrations and they expect a fun filled family day where Fijian culture will be on display for Auckland and the world.

He said organizers have planned a very special program which will also include a one hour performance at 2pm by the Fiji Police Band, while other entertainment includes a Fijian Warrior Dance and a Fijian Meke as well as Indian dances and various other cultural items.

Khan said they will also have the Fijian art and handicraft display at Bula Festival 2011.
