Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis has won his second consecutive Olympic gold medal.
Arguably the GOAT of men's pole vault, world-record holder Duplantis only needed three vaults to clinch the gold.
He confirmed the result with a successful clearance of 6.00m.
He then set an Olympic record by clearing 6.10m, breaking the previous mark by seven centimetres.
Sam Kendricks (5.95m) of the US took silver, with Greece's Emmanouil Karalis (5.90m) claiming bronze.
Australia's Kurtis Marschall (5.85m) was sixth.
