Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

As at 3.30pm 285,845 voters at 1,321 polling stations out of 1,435 are operational today have voted.

606,092 people are listed to vote at allocated polling stations today.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says they are urging Fijian to use the next 1 hour or so to please come out and vote.

He says if you were one of those people disappointed about the 2018 elections where we had 72 percent turnout, you must be disappointed if you are one of those people not counted in this election.

Meanwhile, Electoral Commission Chair, Mukesh Nand says it is your turn to show up for your nation and lead the way for those who will come after you.

He says if you are still at home or elsewhere, you have less than 2 hours and vote.

The Chairman says if you are not sure where to vote then text your Voter Card number to 1500 and if you do not have a voter card then please bring your valid voter ID.

Nand says there is still time for you to vote as polling stations close at 6pm or the last person in the line at 6pm votes.
