Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says as a team they respect the decision to postpone the Olympics because it’s not just about themselves, this is much bigger than them.
Baber says it is important to give everyone the opportunity to look after their loved ones during this difficult time.
He added this will give them more time to prepare and they have had a few injuries so they need to get these players back on track and give few other players more game time.
Baber says they look at it as positive as well, they will look ahead of their plan and see what is needed to be done, ultimately, he will push the players to their limit.
He says it is important they have that self-management and self-awareness ensuring they will put their hands up potentially to be an Olympian.
