Said Benrahma's and Jarrod Bowen's scored a goal each for West Ham.
West Ham, still 15th in the table but now four points above the relegation zone, could have won it when Antonio's header bounced off the crossbar in a frantic finish.
Arsenal began the weekend six points clear of Manchester City, but that has now been cut to four after City won 3-1 against Leicester yesterday.
