Five hundred more students will benefit from the $2.5 million worth extension of the University of Fiji’s Suva campus.
During the laying of the foundation of the building today, University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Richard Coll said the new building will provide more space and facilities for the new students who will enroll for the existing programs such as Literature and Language, Education and Law next year.
Professor Coll said plans to introduce other courses are in progress.
He said the purpose of the development is to see that the students are provided with better service at the University.
He added they will also look into building a campus in the Northern division.
