Army crowned Marist 7s Men's Champion while Lavidi brothers win Series

The DXC Army Green has been crowned the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s after defeating DXC Babarians 17-5 in the Men's Cup Final.

It was an intense Final as both teams gave their all in a slippery wet condution at the HFC Bank Stadium this evening.

Army scored two tries in the first half with a conversion while Babarians scored an unconverted try as the game went into halftime with Army holding a slight 12-5 lead.

Army scored an unconverted try in the second half to put the final nail on the coffin.

Meanwhile, Lavidi Brothers have been crowned the Fiji Bitter Series champions despite losing out in the Marist 7s pre elimination stages yesterday.

In other Finals, the U21 Men's catergory was won by PSM Aflame Brothers, the Women's was won by Mt. Masada.
