All Blacks and former Hurricanes backrower Ardie Savea will be returning to the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition after signing a two-year deal with Moana Pasifika and the New Zealand Rugby Union which will end in 2027.
This has been confirmed by Moana Pasifika and the All Blacks today.
Savea spent this season playing for Kobelco Kobe Steelers in the Japanese Top League and returned to New Zealand earlier last month to re-join the All Blacks squad for the July tests series.
The 30-year-old has made 131 Super Rugby appearances for the Hurricanes and earned 78 international caps for the All Blacks before joining the Steelers in Japan this year.
Savea added another three All Blacks caps recently to his name after playing against England and the Fiji Water Flying Fijians in the July tests series.
Savea and the All Blacks return to NZ following their 47-5 win over the Flying Fijians in San Diego to prepare for the upcoming Rugby Championship that will kick off next month.
