The appeal hearing for the rejected Suva Rugby Union motion for the Fiji Rugby Union board members to be removed, has been moved to tomorrow.
FRU’s Acting CEO, Sale Sorovaki and Suva Rugby Union Secretary, Nemani Tuifagalele both confirmed this earlier today to fijivillage News.
Tuifagalele says the reason it has been moved is due to the unavailability of some members of the independent appeals committee.
When fijivillage News asked if they will accept the decision by the appeals committee, Tuifagalele says they will wait for the outcome of the appeal before they decide to take any further action, on the objection of their motion and nominations for the FRU AGM.
Suva wants all board members to step down except the Prime Minister’s nominee, Simione Valenitabua.
The FRU AGM will be held from 9am this Saturday at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka.
