Fiji Bati hooker Apisai Koroisau will be playing in a different banner in the 2023 NRL season after securing a two-year deal with the Wests Tigers.
ABC reports that the 29-year-old star agreed to the Tigers terms on Friday, knocking back interest from the NRL's newest franchise, the Dolphins.
Koroisau will stay with the Penrith Panthers for the 2022 NRL season.
The move to the Tigers will see Koroisau reunite with head coach Michael Maguire, under whom he made his NRL debut and won a premiership while playing for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2014.
Koroisau has played 145 NRL matches across the three clubs; the Panthers, the Sea Eagles and the Rabbitohs.
