Natabua and Jasper retain Coca Cola Lautoka Zone boys and girls title

Natabua High School and Jasper Williams High School have retained their title in the boys and girls division at the Coca Cola Lautoka Zone.

Jasper finished the meet with 22 gold, 23 silver and 13 bronze to win the girls division.

Natabua was runner-up with 14 gold, 8 silver and 13 bronze.

The boys division was a one-sided affair as Natabua won the boys title with 35 gold, 23 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Central College came in second with 4 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze.

Ofa Loganilakeba took out best female athlete after winning gold in the senior girls 100m, 200m and 4x100m replay events.

Loganilakeba also broke the senior girls 100m record to set a new time of 12.50 seconds and set a new record in the 200m to a time of 25.95 seconds.

She also helped the senior girls 4x100m relay team set a new record of 53.11 seconds.

Best male athlete was awarded to Rayash Kumar of Natabua who won the senior boys 1500m and 3000m events.
