Another offshore earthquake occurred in the Fiji region at 6.18 this morning.
The Mineral Resources Department’s Seismology Section says the 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred 658 kilometres South of Suva.
The quake occurred at a depth of 573 kilometres.
There is no tsunami threat.
A 5.4 magnitude earthquake occurred 109 kilometres South of Suva at 3.05pm yesterday.
The offshore quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
