The Communications Ministry has now given another 10 days from the July 1st deadline for the change in radio station frequencies for certain radio stations to ensure there is no interference and every operator complies with the National Spectrum Decree.
Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum believes that after the 10 day period there will be no radio station interfering on another station frequency.
Meanwhile changes to frequencies of the five radio stations of Communications Fiji Limited continue to take place according to the new decree, and today parts of the Western division will be on the new frequencies.
For Legend FM, listeners in Lautoka and Nadi can catch us on 98.6FM.
In Sigatoka, Legend FM can be heard on 98.4FM.
Towards the end of this week, the frequencies for those staying in the Central Division will change.
We will keep you informed as all changes will take place by this Friday.
As earlier announced, under the National Spectrum Decree, all radio stations have to change to reallocated frequencies decided by the Communications Ministry by this Friday, July 1st.
