Already long lines outside supermarkets this morning

There are already long lines of people this morning outside major supermarkets in Suva, Nasinu and Nausori as preparations continue for a lockdown of Suva and Nausori from 11 o'clock tonight till 4am next Wednesday.

Many people started lining up from around 7 to 7.30 this morning as most supermarkets open at 8am.

Please practice COVID safe guidelines when you leave your bubble to go for an essential run to the supermarket.

Do not remove your mask to talk to anyone.

You must maintain a safe physical distance of 2 metres.

Carry an effective hand sanitiser and frequently sanitise your hands.
