Alleged Asian gambler allowed to travel

An Asian national charged with gaming without license and engaged in gaming activity without a license has been allowed to travel abroad by the Suva Magistrate Court this morning.
Liano Dows had requested Magistrate Yohan Lianagi to allow him to travel to China for a business trip from the 17th December to 3rd January.
The court released him on a $1000 surety bail and ordered Dows to deposit $500.
His travel documents are expected to be released later today.
Dows is charged along with Lum Moon Woot, Lo On, Jin Hui Lin, Guo Xi Zan and Xihong Kuang.
The case will be called tomorrow.
