All public transport services have ceased until further notice.
This has been confirmed by the National Disaster Management Office.
However some buses have been providing services in Suva and Nausori areas.
Fiji Bus Operators Association President Nisar Ali Shah says they have issued a advisory for their members however they cannot stop individual bus operators from providing services.
