All about possession and controlling the ball - Kativerata

Vodafone Fiji Bati Assistant Coach Wise Kativerata says they will need to minimise their mistakes when they play the Kangaroos in their first Rugby League World Cup match tomorrow.

He says one thing they have noticed is that the national team tends to drop the ball a lot.

Kativerata says some things they need to fix this week is to keep it simple, keep possession and when opportunity comes, they have to take it.

He says they also need to improve their defence as a group and as a team.

Kativerata says Rugby League is a very simple sport and anyone can win if they put their mind to it.

When asked on his game plan for tomorrow, Kativerata says they just need to complete their sets and get field position.

The Fiji Bati will take on the Australian Kangaroos at 6.30am tomorrow.
