All the eight islands in Southern Lau who were affected by Tropical Cyclone Ula have been assisted.
This has been confirmed by the National Disaster Management Office Director Akapusi Tuifagalele who says that their team have delivered all the food items to Ono-I-Lau, Vatoa, Ogea, Fulaga, Komo, Moce, Kabara and Namuka-I-Lau.
Tuifagalele says the team is on their way back to Suva and is expected to arrive at 3pm today.
He adds once the team arrives, they will then table their report to the NDMO=s council before it’s submitted to Cabinet.
