The French Ambassador to Fiji, Jean Francois Fitou is assuring Fijians that all Fijian rugby players and Fijians living in France are safe and they have the same access to the health facilities as anyone in the country.
Fitou says Fijians playing for French rugby clubs are being cared for by the clubs and the French health system.
Fitou says there is a possibility that Fijians living in France and other people can catch COVID-19 as France is one of the badly affected countries by the virus
He has commended the measures taken by the Fijian government to battle COVID-19 and has asked Fijians to follow the advice given by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.
