All Blacks and Chiefs prop Atu Moli will not play again in 2020.
Moli is set to undergo surgery on both his left and right hips to treat chronic hip dysfunction.
The four test All Black turned out for the Chiefs earlier in 2020, on the back of the Rugby World Cup campaign in Japan, before the Covid-19 pandemic ground the original Super Rugby season to a halt.
It's a further blow up front for the Chiefs who also have fellow All Black Angus Ta'avao on the sidelines for the early weeks of Super Rugby Aotearoa.
The Chiefs will play the Highlanders at 7.05pm this Saturday.
