The All Blacks have named their squad for the upcoming 2023 Rugby World Cup semi final clash against Argentina this weekend with the return of explosive winger Mark Telea into the starting line up.
Telea was left out of the match day squad for the quarter final against Ireland last week for breaching the team’s protocol and has now been recalled into the team by coach Ian Foster.
All Blacks Starting XV: Ethan De Groot, Codie Taylor, Tyrel Lomax, Samuel Whitelock, Scott Barrett, Shannon Frizell, Sam Cane, Ardie Savea, Aaron Smith, Richie Mo’unga, Mark Telea, Jordie Barrett, Rieko Ioane, Will Jordan, Beauden Barrett. Impact: Samisoni Taukei’aho, Tamaiti William, Fletcher Newell, Brodie Retallick, Daltan Papali’i, Finlay Christie, Damien Mckenzie, Anton Lienert-Brown.
The first semi final is sure to be a thriller with Argentina proving to be the unpredictable team in the tournament after beating Wales last week 29-17 in their quarter final.
The All Blacks will take on Argentina in the first semi final at 7am Saturday. Meanwhile, the second semi final between England and South Africa will be at 7am Sunday.
