All Blacks and Auckland rugby great Andy Haden is seriously ill at his home.
A family spokesperson has confirmed this.
The 69-year-old played 117 matches, including 41 tests, for the All Blacks during a long and distinguished international rugby career from 1972 to 1985.
He captained his country on eight occasions.
The Auckland rugby community has been in shock as word of Haden’s deteriorating health situation begun to circulate in recent days.
