All Blacks forwards coach Mike Cron has been relieved of his duties as New Zealand Rugby faces difficult financial times amid world sporting restrictions due to COVID-19.
Cron had been a member of the All Blacks coaching staff for 16 years.
NZ Rugby was forced to cut 50 percent of its 180 workforce due to the pandemic.
NZ Rugby chairman Brent Impey says there’s no risk of the organisation going under with cash reserves of $93 million but a dramatic slump in income has hammered its bottom line and it could record a loss of around $100 million in 2020.
