New Zealand will become the first men’s team, other than hosts France, to secure their place at the Paris Olympics should they seal Cup glory in Singapore.
The All Blacks Sevens are the form team in the Series, having reached five of the last six Cup finals and won three of the previous four, including at Hong Kong Stadium last time out.
Victory this weekend would draw them level with Fiji on three Series wins in Singapore and ensure they cannot be caught in the race for Paris by Australia, who currently sit one place and two points outside of the qualification spots.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play Canada at 4.04pm tomorrow in their first pool game, they will then play Samoa at 7.30pm tomorrow before taking on Spain at 11.33pm Saturday in their last pool game.
The cup quarter finals will begin at 4.18pm Sunday, the cup semi finals will begin at 8.13pm Sunday while the cup final will kick-off at 11.28pm Sunday.
