Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka

Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka says all Ambassadors and High Commissioners will be recalled and some of them will be terminated and some will be redeployed.

He says it is only right for the Government to send out representatives at the highest level internationally who speak comfortably about the policies of the new government.

Rabuka says these changes will take place as soon as the Chair of the Public Service Commission briefs him on who is where, who might act in that position and who is to come back.

The Prime Minister has also confirmed all promotions and appointments in the government are on hold because the PSC has just been appointed and they will have to deal with it through the normal process.
