Alia Bhatt extended a warm congratulatory note with flowers to Kangana Ranaut after it was announced yesterday that the ‘Manikarnika’ actress has been conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri Award.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel shared pictures of the same on Twitter and stated, “Look, Alia has also sent flowers. I don’t know about Kangana but I am really enjoying it”.

In the past, Kangana has often taken a dig at Alia, but the latter has always responded with patience.

Last year Kangana lashed out at Alia stating that no one supported her during the release of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and even tagged the ‘Raazi’ actress as ‘Karan Johar’s puppet’.

In response, Alia stated that she admired Kangana as an actor and that she may have unintentionally upset Kangana as she didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this.

Meanwhile, Kangana can be seen in her new film “Panga” which has garnered a lot of appreciation from both movie goers and critics.
