Air Pacific signs deal with American Airlines for new destinations

Air Pacific customers will now have easier access to major business centers in the United States after American Airlines and Air Pacific signed a new code share agreement.

Air Pacific’s Managing director and CEO David Pflieger said Air Pacific is delighted to join forces with American Airlines to offer customers a world class gateway to nearly twenty American cities.

Pflieger said the code share relationship will bring new and returning travelers to Fiji and give American customers more travel options throughout the South Pacific.

Plieger said pending US government approval which is expected within the next 30 to 60 days, American will place its code on Air Pacific flights in Los Angeles to Nadi , Honolulu - Nadi and Nadi to Suva while Air Pacific will place its code on nearly 20 new destinations to cities flown from American’s Los Angeles cornerstone hub.
