Affairs of Fiji Taxi Association to be investigated - Daunabuna

The Registrar of Industrial Association has stopped some members of the Fiji Taxi Association from holding an Extraordinary General Meeting today.

Permanent Secretary for Industrial Relations, Salaseini Daunabuna who is also the Registrar of the Industrial Association says they will be conducting an enquiry into the affairs of the Fiji Taxi Association.

She says the enquiry is being done after recent events within the Fiji Taxi Association.

There were a lot of disagreements at the Fiji Taxi Association AGM in March this year and the election for office bearers also could not take place.

Daunabuna says the members of the association will not able to  call an AGM until their enquiry is complete.
