A number of traditional warriors are now on guard at Nauluvatu Village in Nakelo as the late Adi Samanunu Talakuli will be laid to rest at the chiefly burial ground later today.
The beating of the “lali” continues in the village.

Adi Samanunu was the eldest child of the late Ratu Sir George Cakobau.
She was also a former Minister for Fijian Affairs, senator and former Ambassador to Malaysia.
