Fiji Corrections Service Senior Psychologist Elenani Vuru

Fiji Corrections Service Senior Psychologist Elenani Vuru says according to data drugs is one of the major contributing factors of crimes these days.

While speaking at the National Dialogue titled “Substance Abuse – Let’s Talk About It! Finding a Fijian Solution!” organised by Leadership Fiji with the support of the Ministry of Defence at the USP AusAid Lecture Theatre Vuru says they try their best to prevent drugs from entering the Corrections Institutions.

Vuru says they have built infrastructure to cater for the prisoners and look at them positively irrespective of the crime.
