A road accident along Wailase in Sawani Road has caused an unplanned power outage for residents living in the Sawani, Serea and Waidina district

A road accident along Wailase in Sawani Road has caused an unplanned power outage for residents living in the Sawani, Serea and Waidina district.

The Fiji Electricity Authority says this will affect power for residents in Naqali, Viria, Bureni, Waitolu, Savu, Nawaqabena, Nabukaluka Road, Waivaka, Namosi, Vanuakula and Nauluvatu.

FEA CEO Hashmukh Patels says repair work on the damaged power pole is in progress and is expected to be completed by this evening.
