About 99.9% of Fiji Development Bank customers have come out the grace period for loan repayment and are at least paying their monthly interest rates.
FDB’s CEO, Saud Minam says of the $200 million allocated for COVID-19 assistance by the government, $125 million has been disbursed.
He says about $60 million has been dispersed by the FDB which is more than 30% of the total amount.
The Bank’s CEO further says they do not know at this stage as to when applications for the COVID-19 Recovery Credit Guarantee Scheme will be re-opened.
He adds they received close to 15,000 applications in a very short period of time.
