Attorney General, Graham Leung says the allegation made against him by the Fiji Labour Party and others that he tried to stop the work of the Commission of Inquiry, is false.
Leung says he was summoned and appeared as a witness before the Commission of Inquiry appointed by the President to inquire into the appointment of the FICAC Commissioner on 16th January this year.
The Attorney General says he acknowledges and respects the independence of the Commission and he is committed to supporting its mandate consistent with its Terms of Reference.
