ACS are girls champions in the 2019 Coca-Cola Games

Adi Cakobau School has successfully defended the girls' division title of the 2019 Coca‑Cola Games based on the Legend FM/FM96 Medal Tally.

ACS has 14 gold, 13 silver and 8 bronze.

Saint Joseph’s Secondary School is in second place with 7 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze while Jasper Williams High School is in third place with 4 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze.

No other school in the girls’ division can surpass ACS on the medal tally as only 4 girls events are left in this year's games.

ACS Head Coach, Antonio Raboiliku says that it was not an easy journey for the girls to win the girls division of the Coca-Cola Games adding that the team knew it was going to be tough.

However, Raboiliku acknowledged the girls ability to follow the instructions they were supposed to adhere to and this has led to them successfully defending their title this year.

It is a tight race in the boys division according to the Legend FM/FM96 Medal Tally.

Ratu Kadavulevu School is currently leading with 12 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze.

Marist Brothers High School is in second place with 8 gold, 13 silver and 7 bronze.

Suva Grammar School is in third place 4 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.

4x100 metres boys relay finals :

RKS is the champion of the Senior Boys 4x100 metres race after a strong finish by the team. Kolinio Radrudru won his third gold medal at the games in this race.

Marist came second while Natabua High School finished third.

Marist took home gold in the Intermediate Boys 4x100 metres relay, Suva Grammar got silver while RKS took the bronze.

Natabua is taking home the gold medal in the Junior Boys 4x100 metres relay after they beat RKS who take home the silver while Grammar settled for bronze.

RKS won the gold medal in the Sub Junior Boys 4x100 metres final after a tight race in the last 50 metres, Marist settled for silver while QVS won the bronze medal.

4x100 metres girls relay finals :

Salote Baravilala helped Jasper win gold ahead of ACS in the Senior Girls 4x100 metres relay while Suva Grammar settled for bronze.

ACS won the gold in the Intermediate Girls 4x100 metres relay, Jasper settled for silver while Nadi Sangam College won bronze.

Saint Joseph’s Secondary School finished in first place in the Junior Girls 4x100 metres, Jasper settled for silver while ACS won bronze.

ACS won gold in the Sub-Junior Girls 4x100 metres, Suva Grammar settled for silver while Jasper won bronze.

Boys 200 metres :

Kolinio Radrudru of RKS has won the Senior Boys 200 metres after beating Natabua’s, Nemani Mudrelagi. Radrudru has completed the double in the sprints after he won the 100 metres gold medal yesterday.

Mudrelagi settled for silver while Viliame Rekitilako of Marist takes home the bronze.

Lasarusa Senibale of Marist beat two RKS athletes to win the gold medal in the Intermediate Boys 200 metres. Richard Elder and Tevita Sokiveta of RKS had to settle for silver and bronze respectively.

Natabua’s Alipate Vuiwakaya has taken home the gold medal in the Junior Boys 200 metres. He also won the 100 metres yesterday.

Ronald Sharma of Cuvu College had to settle for silver while Mesulame Tuigau of RKS took home the bronze medal.

Sale Joe of John Wesley College takes home the gold medal in the Sub-Junior 200 metres race while RKS athletes Inia Colata-na-vanua and Kolinio Kadaoca had to settle for the silver and bronze medals respectively.

Girls 200 metres :

It was a clean sweep by Adi Cakobau School in the 200 metres finals after winning gold in all four grades. 

Serenia Ragatu claimed her second gold medal after winning the Senior Girls 200 metres final. Jasper’s Vika Bavui settled for silver while Titilia Dibeca of Seaqaqa Central College won the bronze medal. 

Jasper Williams High School’s Salote Baravilala was disqualified in the Senior Girls 200 metres final after breaking at the start of the race.

Adi Cakobau School’s Naomi Sigaruarua and Amele Navabale clinched the gold and silver in the Intermediate Girls 200 metres final.

Jasper’s Unaisi Tagabale won the bronze medal.

Kesaia Boletakanakadavu finished strongly to win gold in the Junior Girls 200 metres final.

Tokasa Gukirewa of Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won silver while Repeka Rosi of Jasper settled for bronze.

ACS has taken the gold and silver in the Sub Junior Girls 200 metres final.

Melania Ranadi of ACS won gold while her team mate, Varanisese Naiobasali won silver. Suva Grammar School’s David Chloe took out the bronze medal

May Kaora of Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won gold this morning in the Junior Girls Shot Put.

Sera Ralawa of Uluivalili Secondary School from Savusavu settled for silver while Tamara Fakataufon of ACS took out the bronze medal.

Vani Sokomuri of Niusawa Methodist School from Taveuni took out the gold medal in the Intermediate Girls Javelin. Loata Nabulagi of Jasper Williams High School took out the silver medal while Tokasa Kenona of Jasper settled for the bronze medal.
