A team from the International Rugby Board will be in Fiji later this year to inspect the new ANZ stadium.
Fiji Sports Council Chairman, Peter Mazey confirmed that they will propose to the IRB team to allow Fiji to host a tournament in the IRB 7's series.
Apart from this, Mazey has also confirmed the sports council and the Fiji Rugby union will soon release details of the celebration of 100 years of rugby in Fiji.
Meanwhile, the ANZ stadium will open by the end of April and the first sporting event that will take place in the new stadium is the 2013 Coca Cola Games which will be held on the 26th and 27th of April.
Mazey said works on the new stadium is delayed due to the shortage of cement and Tropical Cyclone Evan last year.
