A number of roads and crossings in the North flooded

A number of crossings and roads in the Northern Division are currently closed due to flooding caused by heavy rain.

The Nakama Crossing, Nasarava Crossing, Bulileka Road, Konsami Crossing, Waidamudamu Road, Tabia Crossing, Soisoi Road, Delaikoro Road, Nasaqa Crossing, Coqeloa Temple Road, Qeleimumu Crossing, Urata Crossing, Qawa Crossing and Boca Loop in Labasa are under water.

In Nabouwalu, the Dagau Crossing, Namuavoivoi Road, Nabilodra Crossing, Zailav Crossing, Buavou Crossing, Navidamu Road, Narailagi Crossing, Lalakoro Crossing, Vunimako Road, Naqumu Crossing and Drawa Crossing are flooded.

The Bagata Crossing in Savusavu is also under water.

The Fiji Roads Authority is urging drivers to drive safely amidst the wet weather conditions, especially in the low lying areas.
