Fighting off COVID-19 is no easy feat for a 104-year-old, but imagine doing it twice like one Columbian woman just did.
Carmen Hernandez was applauded by hospital staff as she was discharged after her three-week stay.
She was first diagnosed with COVID-19 last June, and the second time shortly after being vaccinated.
TVNZ News reports once she's fully recovered from the virus, Hernandez will get her second jab for the vaccine.
According to Johns Hopkins University research, more than 132 million COVID-19 infections have been recorded across the world along with more than 2.8 million deaths.
