The National Fire Authority attended to 95 structural fires in a span of 10 months beginning from January to October this year.
Chief Executive Officer Puamau Sowane says 34 structural fires occurred in the Central Division, 45 in the Western Division and 16 in the Northern Division.
He says 88 incidents were residential fires while 7 were commercial fires.
Puamau says from January to September this year, the total cost of damages due to these fires has been estimated at $5.8 million.
