An 8‑year‑old girl is still in critical condition and an 18 year old is recovering in the Lautoka Hospital following an accident at Vatukarasa in Sigatoka on Sunday.
The little girl was walking along the road with an 18‑year‑old when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle has been questioned and no charges have been laid yet however the case file has been forwarded to the Divisional Traffic Officer West for further direction.
