A new apartment building owned by the Centenary Church in Suva will be opened today as the church embarks on a new journey to assist its members.
The cost of the new apartment is about $800,000 and church steward, Jone Vuto says this is something new for the church to be involved in investments.
Vuto says this will enable them to take away the financial pressure on their members.
Vuto says they have a five year strategic plan and they will continue to review their financial plans to assist the church members if the need arises.
The project will also include the funding of the new house of the Centenary Church Minister as well as their repayment of the loan at the bank.
The new Brewster Apartment will be opened at 2pm today by the superintendent of the Suva Methodist Circuit Reverend Eroni Moce.
