8 teams to feature in the Fiji FACT- Yusuf

The Fiji Football Association have confirmed that eight teams will participate in this years Fiji FACT instead of six which was announced earlier.

Fiji FA had previously said that the top five teams in the Vodafone Premier League and hosts Labasa will be participating in the tournament.

However, CEO Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed that all eight teams in the top flight will feature in the tournament after discussions in the board meeting yesterday.

Yusuf says the first round will be played on November 22nd where Suva and Lautoka will both host doubleheaders.

The rest of the tournament will be played from the 25th to the 29th of November at Subrail Park.

Nadi is the defending champions of the Fiji FACT after they beat Suva 2-1 in the final last year.
