74 families including police officers who are currently in home isolation received food packs from the government yesterday.
48 packs were delivered to families in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas and 26 packs were given to officers who are in isolation.
1 pack was delivered in Bau, 1 pack to Davuilevu, 1 pack in Caubati, 2 packs in Cunningham, 1 pack in Khalsa, 4 packs in Lami, 2 packs in Makoi, 1 pack in Muanikoso, 3 packs in Nabua, 3 packs in Nadera, 2 packs in Narere, 9 packs in Nausori, 3 packs in Raiwaqa, 3 packs in Samabula, 3 packs in Tacirua, 5 packs in Valelevu, 2 packs in Vatuwaqa, 1 pack in Wainibokasi and 1 pack in Wainibuku.
The government says until now, around 2,638 packs have been delivered to families in home isolation in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas and 86 packs to officers who are currently in home isolation with their families. To date, a total of 11,516 groceries and essential items packs including 2,716 new household packs have been distributed to families in targeted lockdown areas and home isolation.
The government says they have distributed a total of 41,016 food ration, grocery, essential items and household packs.
