73 students treated and sent home after bus collision

73 students have been treated and sent home after they were on board two buses that collided in Raviravi, Ba earlier this morning.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro has confirmed that 19 students from Xavier College, 22 students from Ba Sanatan College and 32 students from Kamil College have been treated for minor injuries and sent home.

Naisoro says a 17-year-old female student of Ba Sanatan College and one of the bus drivers’ are admitted at Ba Hospital and they are now in stable condition.

She says three more students are still being treated at Lautoka Hospital.

Naisoro confirms the two buses were travelling towards Ba when the accident occurred.
