Seven officers of the Fiji Police Force have graduated after under-taking a Finger Print Specialist course facilitated by the Australian Police Force and the Pacific Police Development Program.

Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says this course is an opportunity for the Fiji Police Force to have more officers undergo training to become fingerprint specialists and provide expert fingerprint testimony in a court of law.

The course was attended by officers from Samoa, Tonga and Fiji.

The United Nations has shown interest for potential deployment of forensics personnel to assist in UN led investigations.
