A 27-year-old Medical Officer who was found drunk and walking along Rewa Street was part of the seven people who were arrested for breaching curfew in the last 48 hours.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu says three arrests were recorded from Sunday 11pm to 4am Monday and all these cases were recorded in the Western Division whereby three men in their 30’s were found drunk while travelling in a vehicle at Vatudradra in Nadroga.

Tudravu says from 11pm last night to 4 this morning four reports were recorded.

Two cases were recorded in the Northern Division while the Southern and Eastern Division recorded a case each.

Tudravu says the two arrests made in the North involved two men aged 31 and 25 who were both found drunk and loitering in Labasa.

The lone case in the Southern Division involved a 19-year-old man who was found drunk inside a parked bus at the Nabua.
