7 Queen contestants vying for crown of 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival

The 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival will see 7 queen contestants vie for the crown where they will use this stage to raise awareness and advocate on this year’s theme “ Working towards a safe environment for all”.

While speaking at the launch of the 2019 Tebara Carnival at the Vodafone Headquarters in Tamavua, Tebara Carnival Committee Chairman, Jiten Prasad says the queen contestants will be participating and interacting with communities and villages around the Tailevu, Rewa and Naitasiri area to raise awareness and promote this year’s theme.

Prasad says they are thankful to Vodafone Fiji for coming on board again this year as their major sponsor and for their continuous support since 2015.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji Sponsorship Manager, Adriu Vakarau says this year they will be sponsoring the Tebara Carnival with the sum of $25,000.

He says this sponsorship would be used for the preparations and running of the one week‑long event.

The 2019 Vodafone Tebara Carnival will be held on the 25th of May to 1st of June at Syria Park, Nausori.
